Exciting New Acura NSX on Tour of America Stars in Gillman Acura Preview Party
The new Acura NSX has been featured in every car magazine and people are anxious to see this new Acura flagship. By all accounts, it is a technically advanced, high-performance automobile with stunning good looks and phenomenal handling.

have honored Gillman dealerships year after year. In Houston, it was
"Four in a Row! Way to go!" when the annual Houston Chronicle-sponsored
survey of companies recognized Gillman Automotive Group as one of the
area's Top 100 Workplaces. A total of 1,291 organizations were asked to
participate in this study by the national firm Workplace Dynamics. Some
68,000 responses were tabulated, and for the fourth time in four years,
Gillman was identified as a Top 100 Workplace for 2013.
In San
Antonio, a similar study for the Express-News, another Hearst newspaper,
reviewed more than 27,000 responses from employees with 124 firms and
organizations to select 80 Top Workplaces for 2013. The Gillman
dealerships in the San Antonio area were proud to be included in this
highly exclusive group.
In the Rio Grande Valley, the Valley
Morning Star creates a listing of "The Best of the Best in the Valley."

Gillman Guy theme embraced 20 vocal Gillman supporters who all were
Gillman Guys and Gals. Now comes Gillman Guy 3.0. He is a young, ambitious Gillman representative who handles a variety of unusual customers with friendly directness and humor. Each commercial contains a "Gillman Guy Rule" which serves as a punch line to underscore the message.
Gillman Guy 3.0 is played by two different actors (one Anglo and one Hispanic) who were selected after auditioning more than 250 people. Moffett Productions, which has served as a radio and TV production resource for the Gillman Companies for over 20 years, bested 12 acclaimed advertising agencies that made presentations for the business. Gillman is one of the few privately held businesses to be ranked in the Top 100 for 2012. In 2010 Gillman was the first automobile dealership to gain Top 100 distinction. It is also one of only 44 firms to make the list three years in a row. Raked 15th, Gillman is the highest rated privately owned firm in the Large Company category.
The study, sponsored annually by the Houston Chronicle, was performed by Workplace Dynamics. It included 1,352 for-profit and nonprofit organizations and is recognized as one of the best evaluation programs in the nation. Final selections were based on more than 50,000 responses from individuals participating in the survey.

The annual Houston Chronicle survey of area firms includes well over 1,000 for-profit and nonprofit organizations. The research, performed by Workplace Dynamics, includes small, mid-size, and large companies
ranked by number of employees.
To generate the list of 100 firms, Workplace Dynamics collected and sorted through more than 50,000 responses from individuals who participated in the study. The survey is sponsored annually by the Houston Chronicle newspaper and is recognized as one of the most stringent evaluation programs in the nation. She will then assume the role of Association Chairman for 2012. Wimbish was recently named one of the top 100 most influential women in the North American automobile industry by Automotive News. She was also the first woman to be elected to lead the Houston Automobile Dealers Association.
Beginning in January 2011, Jason Gillman, Vice-President of the Gillman Companies and General Manager of Gillman Honda in San Antonio, Texas, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the San Antonio Area Automobile Dealers Association.
Likewise, in January 2011, Chris Gillman, Vice-President and General Manager of Gillman Honda Fort Bend, who is serving as the Houston Area Director of the Texas Automobile Dealers Association, will assume the duties of a Board Member of the Houston Auto Dealers Association.
According to Ramsay Gillman, who until February 2013 is one of the nine members of the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles Board as appointed by Governor Rick Perry, "Our dealerships are all family-owned and operated so we are deeply involved in the retail car business. It is a family tradition and a privilege to serve our industry as well as our customers."

In the annual Houston Chronicle survey of area
companies, The Gillman
Automotive Group was recognized as one of the Top 100 Workplaces. The
ranking, based on a study done by the research group Workplace Dynamics,
included 1,352 for-profit and nonprofit organizations, made up of
small, medium, and mid-size establishments.According to Patrick York, Gillman Auto Group Chief Operating Officer, we were the only privately held business to be ranked among the Top 100 Workplaces. We were the only automobile dealer on the list as well. Gillman has always been an industry leader in providing team members with top facilities, a strong benefit package, and opportunity for advancement.
In selecting the 100 Houston-area companies as great places to be employed, Workplace Dynamics sorted through more than 50,000 responses from individuals who participated in the study. The awards were presented at a special evening event held on November 4th in downtown Houston.
